Amazon is now showing like 10 imports for sale.
most of them now say "ship in 8 to 12 days" or something like that.
a few still say "ships when available"
I saw "Exhiled", "Brotherhood of War", and "An Empress and the Warriors" among others.
I also came across the pre-order for "seven swords" for $40 on sale.
the regular price looks like $60 or so.
Holy crap!
that's crazy. -

Fox Japan will release The Day the Earth Stood Still on 12th of December. There's no cover art available yet.
I couldn't find info on a U.S. release announcement so I assume it hasn't been announced there yet.

They also announced other releases but those have been announced for the U.S. already as well. -

Added this to the Japanese list:
Day the Earth Stood Still (The) (Japan - Fox) (12-Dec-2008)
Amazon JP HMV JP Yesasia
Audio: English
Subtitles: Japanese ?
Region: A | Free ?
Notes: No spec in kakaku.com yet.
And also added 36 titles to the French list. The French list is still not quite completed but hopefully soon
Removed Highlander from the French list because it seems to have been cancelled by Studio Canal (according to DVDFR).

I'm going to be on a trip to Kyoto for a couple of days (back next Tuesday) so I can't update the title listings before later next week. Hopefully I can finish the French listings by end of next week, there's quite a lot of stuff to go through there...
I'll have some limited mobile phone access to the forums in the meanwhile anyway. -

Here's a couple I mentioned in another thread, but don't see posted in the Japanese list yet. They're both available at Amazon.co.jp and HMV.co.jp.
My Blueberry Nights
Audio: English True HD
Subtitles: Japanese
Region: A | Free ?
Breaking and Entering
Audio: English, Japanese, Thai, Portuguese
Subtitles: Japanese, English, Thai, Chinese, Indonesian, Korean, Portuguese
Region: A | Free ?
Also, it's worth noting that Amazon.co.jp now has a currency converter. It appears that Amazon processes your transaction in USD so you can avoid International transaction fees. It's nice to order from Amazon's Japanese site and know how much you're really paying! -

Apparently the difference between T2 and T2 Premium Edition is that the Premium Edition will have both the director's cut and theatrical cuts included.
