I hope its region free as id really like to get it on blu. I've got the UK HD-DVD now but I've always wanted the french version. I may get the HD-DVD from france if the blu is locked

Hopefully Brazilian producers would start releasing Brazilian classics on BR. Everything else they copy from other markets is of little interest to me.
