Default Christian Bale's Equilibrium on Blu-Ray?

*www*.*amazon*.* co*.* uk/Equilibrium-Blu-ray-Christian-Bale/dp/B001CRRAE4 (remove stars)
I figure with Batman and Terminator franchises in place for Sci-fi that releasing Bale's underappreciated Sci-fi, matrix-type romp on blu-ray would be well-timed and the dvd pq is weak. So I googled and found this listing for a UK release in less than a month. Not sure if this is accurate and I've heard nothing of a release for it in the US. Anyone got any info here?

Yes, it's weird that the Machinist is an import only at this time too. He's at the height of his fame here presently as Batman is going to be the all time grossing film...maybe not over Titanic...but still. It will crush Titanic on DVD/Blu-Ray...anyway...it is odd that his films are going elsewhere and not the US.

Equilibrium is a fantastic movie. I have the Japanese exclusive HD DVD. Great story and 5/5 PQ, imo.

Unlike North America, British stuidos dont really release a great amount (if any) info about dvd/blu ray releases. One has to wait pretty much up to the release date to gain info about a release.

i wouldnt worry about the audio, pretty much every import ive ever seen always has lossless audio... most of the time its DTS HD, so i would expect that. Id deffinatly import this one too!
