This thread is an awesome idea. I always like to know if an import has English menu's or not.

great thread!
I have "les Science des Reves" which has the most unique packaging of any foreign bd imo. It's cardboard with a window effect on it. It's also a slipsleeve that you have to slide off to get access to the disc. very cool!
I'll try to get some pics up of it.
btw: I know Kannisto has posted lots of other pics in this forum of other discs, so maybe search for them.
also: how bout a little love for the ITV releases like "Black Narcissus" or "The Day the Eagle Landed." They are truly doing a great job so far imo on there bd lineup. More people need to check out their releases. They are moderately priced for import bds compared to many other titles.
finally: this should be the first stickey of the bd import forum imo.
And then we need to get that overall title master thread (like the amazing one Kannisto made for the HD DVD forum) stickey going, and this sub-forum will really begin to rock.
Let's make this sub forum the place to be on hdd!

What is there to know? If you can operate a Blu-ray player you can operate a digital camera.

lol!
I gave a camera to my dad for X-mas, but I need to install some MAC specific software to be able to use it with my computer. And then I need to learn how to get the pics onto the computer, etc. etc.
You gotta remember, some of us didn't grow up with all this digital crap.
I mean I'm sure I can learn how to do it, but I don't know off the top of my head.
I'm sure I'll get around to it one day.
I'm busy learning French right now.

It's not too bad man. Most digital cameras now function as a mass storage device (under Windows at least -- not sure about Macs) when you plug them in via USB. Then, it's just a matter of copying the pictures off the camera to your computer. Then you upload the pictures to a photo site like Flickr or something else. For flickr, if you have a Yahoo account, you've got a Flickr account, so it's pretty easy. Send me a PM if you need more help.
