Default Amelie (Canada)

Hello,

A quick note that both Amelie and C.R.A.Z.Y, set to be released in Canada this August 12th, are now officially announced as English-friendly.

I hope to run reviews for them shortly.

Hi,

Thanks very much for that. It's a very fortuitous day when you hear of Amelie and Doctor Strangelove coming to Blu-Ray in the same evening.

One problem though. I can't see them for sale anywhere. I've tried:

Amazon.ca
Axelmusic
DVD Box Office
and Movietyme.

That's my knowledge of purveyors of Canadian discs exhausted. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

$49.83 converted to U.S. dollars. I know the moment I buy it a U.S. version will be announced. It is one of my favorite films, I'd love to have it on BD. It would look fantastic.

Axel now have it listed on the site, just over £19. Free shipping is still available through their sale for the next few hours.

Umm Miramax owns the rights to Amelie in the states....

And Universal in Canada... So I dont see that happening unless Disney all of sudden wants to match Universal.
