For some reason I was thinking this came out next week.... So had to pass up Seven Swords for this.

Is this coming to the big screen in the US anytime?

I see it being released in December and November in France and UK. I would guess we might get it later on like they did fearless and the protector.

I already own this on DVD... Its pretty badass movie. I hope the blu-ray looks great though and I just didnt waste 40 bucks. I am sure it will. Its going to be nice having this on Blu-ray months before it comes to theatres in the US. Just going to have to sell it soon as it comes out in theatres so I can pick up the edition with the dubb and possible directors cut

Sensasian.com is free shipping while Play-asia is not so they kinda cancel each other out.

Well it would be true if the P&P made it the same, but even with shipping Play-asia is $35.30 while sensasian is $40 so near $5 saving on 1 title, also yesasia have it for $39 inc shipping.

I guess I have to start ordering some HK titles from play-asia. I never bought from there because I figured they were too expensive but that was based on their prices on Japanese releases (exceeding MRSP). How is the shipping to Japan, is it fast?

Shipping takes about 1 week. The good thing is they issue $5 coupons on every purchase that can be applied on the subsequent order worth $50 or above keeping the average cost per title around $23~28. There are some good affiliate members through whom I receive $10 coupons that brings down the average cost by another $2~$3.

My copy turned up this morning from dddhouse - 5 days to the UK. Also turned up with Seven Swords and Exiled.

Warlords comes in a slipcase and according to the rear, its a 50GB disc, using AVC and has a DTS HD MA Mandarin soundstrack (as well a couple of DD EX ones). Has English subs and 3 special features - Trailer, 117 days production journal and deleted scenes.

I decided to order from Play-Asia since they offer direct deposit into their Australian bank account (something sensasian.com doesn't have).

Just checked the disk now.

Its region coded (for Region A only). Won't play in my UK PS3, but works happily in my US Panasonic.

I had a quick scan through it and the picture is quite stylised at times and theres quite a bit of grain in it. Initial impressions is that it looks good, but not stunning.

Gee, that sucks for all the people in Region B land. I was hoping that the HK studios would keep their releases region free.

Not too interested in this release however I hope this isnt going to be a trend. Probably would have ordered SPL but it looks like it may be locked too (at least what DDD say).
