This may be old news to you serious Blu-ray importers, but it was new to me...
http://www.dvdcompare.net/ The site compares releases across multiple regions, as well as reviews many of the releases. This part is particularly helpful to me when I import: http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparison...ext¶m=(Blu You can find out if an import release is All Region or A,B,C. Users have also contributed info like aspect ratio, compression method, soundtracks and subtitles. It also tells you if the film is the theatrical version, uncut, or cut/censored even further. In some cases, like Casino Royale, it even goes as far as to tell you everything that was cut (looks like the Austrailian release is the one to own for CR, English menus and the uncut R-Rated version). Thought I would pass this site on... |

great site...
hadn't seen that one before. I'm always looking for new comparison sites besides dvdbeaver--my favorite sd site on the web. |
