I can't wait for Tony to confirm for sure that George A. Romero's DIARY OF THE DEAD is region free. Right now he can't be certain so we'll have to sit tight until June 30th when the the truth is revealed. Fingers are crossed...

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this but I just want to be 100% sure before ordering from Tony...
Is the only difference between the 2 Sweeney Todd editions (steelbook vs. non-steelbook) the steelbook? No other special features were eliminated or anything, right?

That is the difference. It's the same disc inside.

I got this (Jeepers Creepers) from Amazon.de. Obviously all the extras are dubbed into German but the movie while a definate upgrade on SD hasnt been cleaned up at all. The opening shot of the car coming around the bend and up the road there is a white line going down the screen like the film was sliced or something and the picture is a bit soft overall. PQ Id put it at 2.5-3 similar to Bram Stokers Dracula.

Like everything though if you are a fan you'll get it the same as me.

Diary and Land I could possibly agree with (though I enjoyed both).

But the original Day of the Dead? Are you fucking kidding me!? Its a classic! Its so great in fact that I cant resist using quotes from that movie in my sig.

He probably meant the Dawn of The Dead remake. Or the Night of The Living Dead remake.

But, hey, I actually liked them both well enough. The only thing I hated about the Night of The Living Dead remake was the girl eating her mom was cut out.
