I've never ordered from the UK so I'm ignorant about this whole VAT taxing... This is what my invoice looks like... It says there was no VAT added so I don't see how others were getting it so cheaper than I did...

Ahh Europe often gets screwed when it comes to releases.

I took the plunge and ordered it. When Paramount made the announcement of titles and included There Will be Blood in their list, I was assuming we would hear about Sweeney Todd soon after. Oh well, this looks like a great purchase.

It is a really good release. Plus it comes in a metal case that just puts the icing on the cake.

I hope so. I think Warner treats their releases well, but I am still curious to see any comparisons to the Paramount U.S. release whenever that may happen.

This is how I look at the justification of paying $41 for a single movie... I sold a bunch of DVD's on ebay that I'll probably never watch again, so in my eyes I just traded them for Sweeney...
