Jeepers Creepers On Blu-ray May 27th?!?!?!

This is a german import, 1080p 2:35.1(which is weird because i thought the movie was in 1:85.1?!?!?) Dolby Digital 5.1 in English, Dolby Digital 6.1 EX in German & DTS Digital 6.1 ES in German. BD 25
I've heard this is region B only, I live in the UK, England so its not a problem for me, I'll leave more info on it when i receive it.

I hate those sites, i've heard from a few sellers on ebay that they will be stocking it! I can't wait till the end of this month, i'll post if i find out any region info. Man jeepers 1 in HD ooooooo......... But i'm still a bit weirded by the 2:35.1 thing this movie is in 1:85.1. I have both u.k & u.s. copies of jeepers 1 on dvd & their in 1:85.1! hmmmmm We'll have to wait & see. Hopefully after that we'll get some texas chainsaw, freddy, jason & more john carpenter action on the blu

It's definately only come out in germany, not walmart, i wish it did come out in walmart because then it wouldn't have german writing on it, lol. Also to REDBULL74 i have heard from the people i bought mine from it's locked to region B, but i won't know for sure until it gets to me, i won't have mine till about thurs-sat, i'll post here as soon as i know.

My seller received his stock this morning & sent me my copy, it will be arriving tomorrow, i'll leave more accurate details. I'll be using my UK region B PS3, is there any way to tell the region code so i can post here, i can tell you what it says on the case, but other than that i'm not sure how i can tell.

Just received my copy of jeepers creepers on blu-ray, german import. The case is riddled with german writing so i can't tell if it region B only, but i've heard it is. It comes in 1:85.1 1080p AVC encode, the film grain becomes very apparent in this transfer, i'm not sure what source master they used but i think this could have been better, but the picture does remain nice & sharp throughout & clearly beats both PAL & NTSC dvd versions. The bit where the creeper dumps the bodies becomes a lot clearer here & the landscape becomes much more noticable, which is very nice. The sound is track 1 is German DTS-HD which sounds great if you speak german, then theres a standard 5.1 English track which sounds a lot more bombastic than the dvd versions so i don't mind, but in the english 5.1 track there is a point where the creeper chasing trish & darry in his van & the sound of the engine & horn hiccups for a second, which in this day & age is unacceptable, checked on the german track & it sounds fine, also on the english 5.1 track & the german track we do not get to hear darry screaming at the end of the movie, the third track is the dvd victor salva commentary. The extras include everything which was on the dvd versions plus an extra B-Roll which was not on the dvds! Overall if you love this movie then import like i did, but i think maybe one day when this is re-released in the uk or the states i'll probably buy it again. 2/5

thanks for the review, even thoigh it doesn't sound as good as i might have hoped i'll probably still end up picking it up as i enjoyed the film.

Imagine that, a german exclusive blu ray release with german writing on it, how inconsiderate!

Thanks for the review, I'm waiting for my copy to arrive from Amazon.de. As its MGM that did the movie Fox will be releasing it so I wont be able import it from the US. Id say it will be a long time until it gets released in the UK but if the transfer is much better I will double dip. This was a low budget movie costing $10m so perhaps the grain is just something that will always be there. I'll also check the sound issues too to see if thats a production or disc probem.

The low budget horror movie I am waiting to be released on Blu is Wrong Turn with Elisha Dushku but Id say I'll be waiting years for that.
