i don't think having a bd-live kinda side which you can get things like the soundtrack, poster, merch for a movie or related.

but you can forget wanting any ad's or merchandise Ad's or infomercials that are NOT movie related on BD discs. I don't want to pay for movies and get ad's. WE PAY TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS SORT OF CRAP!!!

Ok, you're one person with one opinion though.

I can see this being used only after watching the movie..not during it. I have a computer for all that kind of searching for merchandising so why would I bother shopping using a particular BD???? Maybe exclusive merchandise that could only be acquired from that particular bd-live site would be alright. Overall, I'm with PETMIC...I dont want to be doing other things while watching my movie. Kind of defeats the purpose of watching a movie in the first place, dont you think??!!?? I have tried Disney Chat with 'Sleeping Beauty' and I was more focused on that than watching the movie...I could not even enjoy the movie so I just went back to watching the movie only. Why do they want us to multitask while trying to do something basic and simple like enjoy a movie?? I think this is just another way for the studios to charge us more for the price of a blu movie.

What happened to just sitting down and watching a movie on your splendiferous HDTV with your awesome lossless surround sound?
God I miss the good old days!
