ATI cards,Power DVD and ATI driver:any body else haveing problems?
Ok I have an ATI 3650 and Power DVD 7.3 and the LG H20 blu-ray/HD DVD drive.
I noticed ATI had newer dirivers out so i installed them and had major problems with Hellboy 2 and Hancock to which they would not play beyond the menu.
How ever i decided to reinstall the 8.10 drivers and all is fine again.
Seems the 8.11 and 8.12 drivers have some issues

I have a 3870x2, and my comps in the shop being fixed (faulty processor). I have to agree that Ati driver updates seem like shit. I had nothing but problems doing updates. Apparently Nvidia is even worse. My solution with comps is, if it works fine, dont update !

ye i think i will be staying with the 8.10 drivers for a bit.
I was doing a little looking and it appears the problem lies with Power DVD,They appear to have messed up the HDCP part of there program which causes problems with the newer drivers.
May not be the case but i saw that mentioned a few times from various sites.Sony BDP-S370Blu-Ray's Owned: 127Last blu-Ray Brought: Back to the Future Trilogy, The Departed, Sorcerers Apprentice, Kick Ass.
