Default Just got the Walmart Magnavox. Audio Questiion, only getting Pro Logic?

I have this Magnavox Blu-ray Disc Player, NB500MG9 and I have it hooked up with a coaxial digital audio cable but its only playing black in pro logic not Dolby Digital?

Does anyone else have a Magnavox and can shed some light on my problem?

    thanks

Have you gone into the setup menu for the player? Check how the digital output is set? See if perhaps its set to PCM instead of bitsream.

Yeah I've been in the menu messing with settings and I was using process of elimination and just got to bistream and now it works perfectly.

I must say this Magavox is a beautiful machine. Does really nice job on the uprezing too.

Thanks for your comment I guess I posted prematurely.

I'm rather curious about this player what with a good rating from Consumer Reports. Anyone one else try it? This is the latest thread I could find. Seems pretty decent bang for one's buck.
