Default Decoding of True HD, ect

Hi all,
I have a Samsung BD-P1200 connected to a New Denon AVR 4308CI Receiver. The Denon will decode all Audio to date. Will the 1200 pass on the Audio signals to the Amp for it to decode? If yes, How should I send the signals to the amp?
I have attempted using the Optical Cable, and HDMI but the Denon never shows True HD, or Dolby Digital Plus, DTS HD Master, ect. Just DTS or Dolby Digital. I'd rater not upgrade yet, But a review of the BD-P1500 sez the Amp will decode anything the BD sends to it. I have the 1200 set to send Bitstream. Any Ideas???

People gave up on the 1200 ever being able to bitstream DTS-HD-ma long ago.
It doesn't do it, and won't do it.
Sansung is unable or unwilling to provide the necessary update, and this model is discontinued.
search for the massive thread on the 1200 in this forum.
As far as TrueHD, I'm not sure.

Unfortunately you will need a Blu-Ray player that either decodes all the codecs internally or will pass them via bitstreaming over HDMI 1.3 to your receiver.

To the best of my knowledge all the current 1.1 players as well as the upcoming 2.0 players will meet your need. Your other option is a PS3. Sorry. It could be a hardware limitation on the 1200 which will not allow it to bitstream the advanced codecs. The Samsung 1400 and 1500 will pass the codecs as well as the Panasonic BD30. BD50, Sony S350, Sony PS3, Magnavox, Insignia, Sylvania, and latest Philips BD players.

Thanks for the Info, and the Inteligent way you presented it.
I did speak to Denon about it and they think that because I am set up for 6.1 and not 7.1 or above the amp may not allow the advanced decoding. The Denon 4308CI is simply that smart...it knows what I have plugged into it, and won't let me cheat. I will throw a couple of more speakers on it in the next day or two, and report back. My wife will kill me if I buy anymore chit, but a spare Blu-Ray in the bedroom has merrits. Thanks again

Adding speakers will not help. As Ack_bak and others said, the BD1200 will not bitstream the Advanced audio codecs for the Denon to decode. The lights will never light up on the receiver using the 1200. You will need one of the aforementioned players for that. The best you can hope for from the 1200 is DD, DTS Core, or uncompressed PCM (which is lossless if that is an audio option).
