Onkyo 606 PS3 and no video?

HDMI: OUTPUT from PS3
HDMI: Input to ONKYO 606
COMPONENT:OUTPUT to TV
COMPONENT:INPUT to ONKY606

I cannot seem to get a video signal at all at all, could anyone please help?

Wouldn't you have to use the hdmi out from the 606 to the tv?

the ps3 needs propietary cables and I dont have them, just normal components.
Should i wait until tomorrow and buy some hdmi from frys?

If you want digital picture and sound you should run hdmi from ps3 to the 606 and then hdmi from 606 to the tv. That takes care of video.Then to get digital audio run optical cable from the ps3 to the 606 .
I assume you have a speaker system running from the 606.

No you would only need to run hdmi from PS3 to the 606 and then from the 606 to your TV using hdmi. this will take care of picture and sound.

If you can do all HDMI.... Then thats what you want to do.

If I remeber right though, on my SR805 I had to select an option that was HDMI YES or something along those lines to get Video.
