firmwares for bpd 1400
do i need firmware 1.6 & 1.7 to upgrade to 1.8 on a samsung bpd 1400?
im running on v1.5 atm.... if i do need them...does anyone have them? because ive burnt v1.8 onto a disc twice and the player isnt reading it as an update..its just reading it like its a normal cdr

what i see: Panasonic Viera 58 inches plasma...with an hde1k and a samsung bd-p 1400. Yes im pretty purple what i hear: an Onkyo tx -sr605(s) receiver with a Bose acoustimas 10 home theatre system. Booyah!

No, you can just update to the newest firmware regardless of firmware on the player. Each new firmware version is all inclusive.

Chris is right, you can leap frog the revisions if you use a CD Rom. I think they are incremental if you upgrade using the network connection.
Don't forget the firmware has to be burned to your CD as an ISO image, otherwise you're just making coasters.
