My player has been acting funny for a while. I updated the firmware a couple weeks ago, and maybe that has something to do with it?

Anyway, Only issue appears to be the "Open/Close" function. The eject button on the remote only works if the player is OFF, I can hit the Open/Close button, the tray opens, and the unit powers on. NOTHING happens when I hit it again to close the tray, nor does the button on the front of the unit work at all.

To close the tray I have to hit Play. Then to remove the disc, I have to power off, then hit eject on the remote...then back to square one all over again.

Anybody had this issue after the last update?
