Does anyone have the Pioneer BDP 430 blu ray player?
I purchased this player because my Receiver is a Pioneer, and I thought they would work well together. Ive owned it for about a month now. When I first starting using it, it worked good. Now, its taking a long time to load and to get the tray to open is like pulling teeth. I also own a Samsung 46 inch LED/3D tv that I just bought too. If I bought it at a local store I would just return it, but I purchased it thru an online dealer.
Does this sound like a firmware problem or something else? I would think if it was just a firmware problem, I would have noticed it right away when I got it...Any suggestions??
Thanks in advance to all.. -

Pioneer BDP 430 blu-ray player
No but I looked at them and honestly they are good but one major issue. If you want these blu-ray players to go wirelessly you need a special adapter and it's around $120 extra. I wouldn't keep this unit I would return it and get a blu-ray player that has wifi built in so you don't have to buy a special adapter that costs extra. That is just dumb to pay extra money for an adapter. No return it for a full refund. The units are good but not worth the hassle.

I have no use for the special adapter...I got two pairs of glasses free and I have to say I really like the TV (Samsung 46in LED 3D 6400)

After doing more research and reading, I see now what everyone meant when they said it is a Sharp with the Pioneer logo on the front. Not knocking Sharp, as I have never owned anything by them. But, you can tell after a few movies that it really isnt a Pioneer. Im very disappointed with Pioneer in general.
