Just a quick suggestion to make the Exchange Forums experience a little more pleasant, not sure if it has ever been discussed before...

If users wish to list the items they have sold or that are otherwise no longer available in their trade/sell threads, can you please require they do so and utilize "Strike Through" or some other means that will prevent the titles from popping up in search results?

Does not seem like it would require much effort on the part of the user and would result in a benefit to the entire trading community.

Not sure about others, but it is pretty frustrating to search for a title you want and think, "Oh good, a recent thread that has it" only to see it unavailable.

strike through won't prevent search results, sadly, nor will moving them to another post.

i hear you, though. i just can't think of any way that does it.

I just edited mine. In the thread I just made I miscounted the blus and had to adjust it and the price.... It did say 18 Blus for $165 and I edited it to say 17 Blus for $155

Thanks, I did it like 30 seconds after I posted, don't know of that would have anything to do with it or not.

I tried editing one of my older threads, but it didn't work.

I'm no longer going to list 'Wants'. I've never had so many people say "i'll trade you my used movie that 2 years old for your brand new sealed release straight up". Seriously. Do you think I will trade you something that just came out today that is $25+ on Amazon, Best Buy etc. for your weekly $10 title? And get mad when I say No?

yeah, i hate hate hate hate that. i hate that people get rude when a trade offer is declined (it happens to me all the time, i like to offer/counter offer), and i hate it even more when someone offers me into the blue for, say, bsg complete series, or saw that i reviewed a title and offers for it, when i don't even have it listed for sale. grrarrr angry time! lolz
