ni9ht, you can sell a blu-ray any way you wish. if it's new, just say it's new/sealed/whatever you want. if it's resealed, please state such. if it doesn't have a case, or art, same deal.
and good luck w/ whatever you sell!
note: on Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and Grace, please post pics of receipts if listing them pre-date. if another retail store breaks street on them, widely reported, then i'll drop this request. since it's just 1 store, i'll still ask for receipt or remove them if not posted.Nate Boss

How long do you guys give someone that says "I will take it" and you give them your payment info? I think 24 hours is more than fair. Would you agree?

IMO 24 hrs is more than enough time for someone who's serious about purchasing a disc.

We've been having this issue arise a bit lately so here we go.
The reason we ask for users to provide a trade list is to avoid the annoyance of 45+ trade offers that will go nowhere. It is a pain for the seller/trader, potential traders, and the moderation team to deal with offers being posted every five seconds via the thread or pm that the person who listed the title for trade has no interest in.
This usually leads to posts or pms going un-replied to, leaving members angry with each other, and even leading to some members in the past contacting the moderation team about that behavior.
All we ask for is a short list of wants, and you are even welcome to put 'or make offers' under a small stack of titles. We know you have interests out there, some titles you want more than others, so please take the ten seconds and list them.
Same goes with price, you don't want lowball offers or 100+ offers of a price you don't think is fair; then list the price (per forum rules) and you won't have to deal with that. -

I've been noticing there are a few users (one in particular) that keeps bumping his thread to the top. Yesterday was three times I believe from the looks of it. Gets annoying to see the same old threads on top day in day out. Some with only one or two title for sale or trade, the same titles that they have been trying to sell for what seems like weeks on end.
Is the rule two bumps in one day?Epson 1080UB, PS3 and 161" Draper Screen...pure theater bliss!

Project-Blu and I are very busy but we are doing are best to stay on top of things. We have recently deleted threads for WTB's or not listing 'Wants or Prices' in threads. We have also handed out infractions for those breaking the 2 Bump Rule.
At the same time we are trying to warn those who have not had issues before or are new to the area. So you might notice a Mod Note in a thread or two, or you might not notice anything as most of it is handled through the Infraction System HDD has set up.
Also, Cochise has offered to help in the trade areas with the recent disappearance and issues with Dat. So if you are having issues reaching Project-Blu or myself, the other avenue would be Cochise. -

Here's a Q for Paypal experts -
If someone sends me a Paypal Gift amount, can they cancel that and get the money back (or file something like eBayers tend to do when their is a dispute)? I know Project-Blu sent me payment like that last week. -

with paypal gift, i do not know if they can rescind somehow, but they CANNOT file paypal claims.
hence, if someone says they'll only take PP gift payments, theyre trying to save fees, but are also screwing you by giving you no protection. you gain NOTHING from it. at all. you LOSE (good day sir!).
as for me, we all know i'd never do that to you. or anyone. i don't even know if it could be done. the only thing one can ever do is pay through a credit card and then file a claim w/ the card, which paypal would then put on you, since they're worse than any loan shark.Nate Boss

Well, I have someone who wants to buy stuff from the UK and wants to pay via Paypal 'Gift' like you did (Project-Blu). So, in essence, if he sent me money and I sent nothing he couldn't do anything about it, right? Not that I would, but he has 0 feedback and only a few posts but if I knew there was no way for him to 'take the items and run' it wouldn't be a risk for me. Paypal is already risky enough for sellers that I refuse to sell anything over $100 on eBay.
