He said he was sending it Tuesday afternoon, that he had to go send out a bunch of movies as well.

I still want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but at this point I have no tracking number and his last post was to update his ps3 thread to "sold."

Keith, if you're reading this, please contact us and let us know what's up.

I've never had a problem with trading with him, and combined with his high feedback, I didn't think twice about it - now all this is going down.

I may not buy from any forum anymore - if you can't count on his stats, feedback, rep, etc. - who's can you count on?
I would be getting in touch with my bank or credit card company immediately if I were you. I am on hold with Visa as I type this. Got screwed out of two blu-rays from Westend not getting screwed again.

this is the kind of pro-active gameplan that i'm trying to stress.

SilentNight may not mince words, he's pissed, but he's not laying back, either. he's taking what actions he can, he's tired of waiting, and he's encouraging others to do so as well.

yes, the mod team is working on this as well. we're shorthanded at the moment, but me and dave are aware of the issue, and have already been discussing our course of action. (and no, we won't divulge it yet)

well I must say this is really troubling.
I have also had good trades with Keith so it is all rather surprising.
you know one thing that is kind of strange is that I looked at his profile to see when his last activity was, and it's not shown.
I looked at like 15 other profiles of members, even a few banned people, and they all show that "last activity" on the right side.
why would his not be there?
weird.

Wow, I'm shocked. I've had multiple buys and sell from him. I actually recommended one of my friends to buy the PS3 that he was selling but that never went through (thankfully, although I feel bad for you JLee)

I agree its good to be pro-active, but contacting my CC company seems a bit extreme to me right now. Its only been a week. He did this a couple weeks ago but came through right? If I have a PP claim filed then I am covered for the most part right? Im new at the down side of trading

Like I said, I'm hoping he comes through as well - I've never had a problem when buying from him - I'm just mad because I was saving to get a PS3, and when I saw his deal I jumped, specifically because of his good reputation here and our past dealings.

I filed a paypal dispute, but it says I can't escalate it to a "claim" until 4/7. I'll try my bank in the morning, since a majority of the payment was a bank transfer (the rest was with funds in my paypal account), but I doubt there's much they can do, as it wasn't a credit card payment but a straight bank transfer.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, though, since his last login and post were shortly after he and I were PMing to finalize the deal on 3/31...

you can escalate it to a claim immediately. I did mine right after filing the dispute.

According to mine, I can't escalate it until 4/7. What paypal did everyone use to pay? I just noticed that the paypal address is a little different then what I'v used to pay in the past (although both emails show up connected to his name on an earlier payment I sent for a different transaction). I wish I would have caught this before, although I don't know if it means anything.

On past BD purchases, I sent payment to jesterkeeters@live.com, this time I sent payment to jesterkeeters1127@yahoo.com. I didn't even notice until all this came about and I started to dig into it...

Also, user AVHed left him feedback yesterday and referenced Keith's recent BD thread from 3/25 as the deal's origin thread. I wonder if he actually got something that he bought recently - maybe (hopefully) we're jumping the gun?

I just got off the phone with Visa, they told me to print out the dispute I filled out on PayPal and the transaction details. I will more than likely print out my correspondence with Keith via PM to make sure I have enough info then this all goes to Visa as they now are handling the dispute.

While this is a major pain in the ass I will go through it to get my money back. I just wonder if I should also file a claim through PayPal or if going through my Visa company is good enough? Anyone?

His last login is 03-31-2009 02:47 PM so unless he's on a seperate account, he hasn't been back for a few days now.

that's a presumption, though. when we purged the old threads, users HAVE to use the new threads for feedback. so that means nothing, sadly. i've NEVER used the right threads for feedback when i finally leave it.
