Is the WTB thread supposed to be a 1 post per user thing like the $10 thread? It would make sense for everyone just to update thier post. (thats what Im doing) That way it doesnt get too full easier for sellers to go through.Not to mention not updating will cause you get PMs for movies that you already aquired. My .02

I was wondering the same. I wasn't sure if I should delete the post once I acquired what I wanted.....or to keep adding stuff to that exact same post.

Couldn't agree more. There are a couple here that have the same titles for the same price for weeks I still check it every bump and never a change or new titles.

We haven't instituted any rules on the WTB, in terms of etiquette, other than not posting WTB's as their own threads. i'm not merging them any more.

if you just update, you'll not be seen, as the thread DOES have legs. just bump yourself, quote yourself, delete and repost, whatev. it won't affect the mainpage as stickies don't count against the 20/page.

i personally stand by this policy in my own thread, but not everyone wants to price to move. they want to price to get what they want. that said, if their items don't sell, they're the ones with a depreciating commodity (HDM), as very, VERY few titles ever go UP in price. if they don't price to sell, and don't look at the pricing trends, then they're only shooting themselves in the foot.

if someone wants to price themselves out of competition for me, i'm perfectly fine with the fact that my items will move, and theirs will not.

Has anyone had any issues with a guy named Khondor? I traded a game with him last week where we both were supposed to ship by Friday and send each other the DC #. I shipped thursday and he received it Saturday. Now almost a week later and I haven't received any DC# or game. I've emailed and PM'd him, getting no response back from either.

Never even heard of the guy. But contacting one of the mods is your best bet.

I havent, but looked him up and noticed his thread saying he was going on a 2 week vacation on 3/14. Maybe he couldnt ship it before he went? You should PM Nate (project:blu) before posting in the open about trading issues.

EDIT- nevermind, I just saw he was online 3/23, so thats not it. I suggest you PM Nate if you are concerned.

There is one for Video Games, HDs, and HTG, but not one for Blus, that I see.

i have to post this here:

a thread was posted today, that a few users found suspicious, and posted their reasonings. that is a way to alert other users, and that's fine. but not once was a mod brought in to look into it, no pm, no reported post.

if you guys want definitive answers and assistance, you can't leave us out of the loop. in this area especially, time is of the essence, and just posting my name don't mean i'll see it, as, believe it or not, i don't search my name on the forums here.

play it safe guys. if something is fishy, ask questions, publicly, and privately invite a mod in by pm or by post report.



i also want to use this post as a reminder: in the marketplace, established users CAN request new users to send first, be it in a trade OR sale. in the case of 2 new users, well, no leverage there, that system doesn't work.
