Deep Discount After-Christmas "Sale"
Deep Discount is offering the following Blu-ray titles as part of its After-Christmas "Sale." Why do vendors call it it a sale when it is anything but?
Check out these prices:
It's a Wonderful Life $28.58
A Christmas Story $21.88
How the Grinch Stole Christmas $22.23
The Nightmare Before Christmas $35.56
The Polar Express $23.50
Miracle on 34th Street (1947) $27.77
These are just a few of the titles, but you get the picture!

I am really disappointed with Deep Discount. I have been going there for years and they have always had the lowest price. That on top of free shipping and that 20-25% off sale twice a year made them my top choice for DVD purchases.
I ordered two items from them shortly before Christmas and both never arrived so they had to send replacements.
I guess the low prices finally caught up to them. -

Those are worse than B&M prices. F you, Deep Discount. I used to order from them all the time. They finally lost to Amazon.

Yes, when I got this email from Deep Discount, I snorted in derision. Nothing from them has been a real "sale" in several months.
I used to order from Deep Discount twice a year when they would have their 25% off sale. I would always order quite a few anime and film box sets, spending hundreds of dollars each time. Then this year they started their 40% retail sale instead of the 25% off the deep discount price. That was it for me - Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart had much lower prices - and it takes Deep Discount FOREVER to send your merchandise.
I hope that they'll see the error in their ways...or I'll be a former Deep Discount customer.Panny Viera 46" Plasma 1080P w/PS3 250GB

Count me as another former Deep Discount customer. Their prices for most of the last year (give or take) have kept them off my buy from list. If I'm gonna pay more for something it'll be at Best Buy where I get Reward Zone points, otherwise I'll hold out and wait for the eventual sale at either Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Target or Amazon.
