Default Bourne Trilogy $59.49 @ Amazon!

Yet another killer deal on a box set from Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Trilogy-Identi...6788872&sr=8-1

But my question is, is this still too much to ask for? Hmm..anyway, this is still the best price I've seen on this set so far

Since when is $20 per disc for a catalog title a "killer deal" ?

It's not for me, but this is probably the cheapest bourne has gone since it first came out, so it may be a killer deal for some.

Default Bourned...

Hmmm...it is nearly the same price as Best Buy's after their 30% discount sans the 9.75% tax out here in Cali. Tempting...tempting...tempting...tempting.

Just like TOS, I just realized that they are just price matching Best Buy. But yea, no tax for some is good.

I've been waiting for this to drop. I ordered mine. I haven't seen it lower than this since it's release.

Yeah, $20 per movie is still way too high for a series this old. $45 MAX...usually by buying all 3 movies, you get a DEAL, not the other way around.

yeah i'm w/favelle, mesa keep waiting.

it's not the best movie ever made. good entertainment/demo movies, but they should fall under $10 delivered and not more. thus, if this was like resident evil trilogy@$30, that'd be great, but i'd probably go for it for anywhere from 30-40. but it's not worth $45 even lol.

Sorry guys, I guess i jumped the gun on this one

I guess it's been a while since I've seen Bourne drop, but I'm also with you guys. I'll wait till this sucker drops to $45 max before taking the dive.

Just wonder why this title is so persistent in staying above $50? Features and presentation may be top, but these movies are a little aged.

Its a mystery. Maybe they are selling well at the current $$. Who knows. But they are definitely overpriced, that's for sure.

Thumbs up

hi guy,

oh no, keep 'em coming! i wasn't harping on ya cause of you linking this, this is still a "deal" for certain people that do want to buy this@$20 bux a movie. i think it had always been hovering upwards or 75+, so this is a 'steal' compared to THAT price. so keep linking us if you see large marginal drops!

everyone's purchase threshold is different. some might pay for $20/title, but people like and maybe, we can't afford all these titles unless they were $10-13 range. it's just a discipline >P.

universal has a lot of $ riding on this franchise since they are working on a FOURTH, so this won't be the last. it's just like fast&furious franchise (trilogy+fourth titles BD). i think even $45 is too much. that works to $15 per movie. i'd wait for $30-40 range. i max out@$13 delivered per title.

Some people also might pay full retail price on release day, but those people probably don't come to the "Blu-ray bargains" forum.

I was THIS close to pulling the trigger then sensibility kicked in. $20 per title is a bit much still. I have feeling there will be a quad set in the offing future wise with the fourth installment looming. I'm sure that version will be multiple discs ala X-Men Trilogy with more bonus features and likely digital copies.

I waited forever for this to go down in price and it never did. I pulled the trigger at the last Deep Discount 25% off sale and got it for $54 shipped.

At this point you might be best off waiting a few more months to see if this goes on a major sale during the holidays.

Me? I cherish these movies and have watched all of them twice since I bought the set. Well worth the money for me, but I am a hardcore fan.
