It might be in-store only. I just bought Ice Age 3 (love this franchise, also have the first two in Blu-ray), at the Fountain Valley store for $19.99. The advertised price is $22.77 and the shelf tag says $22.77.

I had a similar experience when Braveheart was released. The advertised price and the shelf tag were at a price point similar to to Ice Age 3 mentioned above. But I had a clerk do a price check and the price was $12.99! Wish Ice Age 3 would have been $12.99!

Ice Age 3 is $19.99 at the Frys in Tempe.

Went there to pick up The Dark Crystal for 12.50.

I ended up picking up Young Frankenstien as well, and when they scanned Young Frankenstien, it rang up at 9.67!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When it is different at the register that means someone has price matched it an they updated the system to reflect that pricing. I had that happen with True Blood - I asked the guy to price match it and when he checked the system, it was already marked down to that price even though the shelf showed the original price $10 higher.
