This actually sounds like it will be good. I should be able to get some newer catalog titles at Amazon prices. Looking for stuff like Easy Rider, Miracle On 34th Street, etc.

If this deal doesn't exclude The Green Mile, I may very well take advantage of this discount for that title (since it's still overpriced by my standards).

More than likely just the titles that are released the week of the sale. You should be in the clear for Wolverine.

I wonder if people will complain on this sale, when they realize they'll only get 30% of MSRP of 29.99 blu-ray, and not the previous sale price of 24.99...

Probably not, because it's not Amazon

Thirty percent off of The Green Mile would make it $20.99. Not too terrible of a price as Digibooks go. Certainly way better than $29.99. And I doubt The Green Mile will be priced any better than $20.99 when it hits Amazon, etc. Most Digibooks, even after months of release, usually remain in the $22-$24 range at Amazon.

I won't rush to Best Buy the first day of the sale. But I'll probably wander in there later in the week when my errands take me in that direction. If The Green Mile is still sitting on the shelf (not sold out), I'll probably pick it up. If not, I'll just keep on waiting. Even at $20.99 it is, after all, above my good catalog release goal of $18.99 or less.

I'm probably going to get the Green Mile at BB as well. Sounds like this one is going to sell rather quickly. I'm not even going to go there, I'll just buy it on their website. Last time I was there, bb.com said the store I was in, had Drag Me To Hell. No one in the store could find it. The girl I asked for help said they tore up the stock room and couln't find it. I had to wait like 20 minutes before she got back to me.

If you are all worried that The Green Mile or any other disc you're interested in not being there for the sale, just buy it now and return next week to price match it. I do it all of the time.

Maybe I'll get lucky and finally be able to buy Poltergeist for a reasonable price... although I doubt it. Even Amazon's $19.99 seems high.
