@amz, i pay $14 per movie (PIXAR nonetheless PRE-order before their debut) and after the coupon for points, it's $5 each =). that's unbeatable.
What movies do you pay $14 per movie? It certainly isn't some of these pre-orders that are coming out because they are price matching nearly all of them from BB. What the hell is that? Aren't they supposed to be cheaper than all of the B&M stores but yet they have to price match BB in order to stay competitive. To hell with Amazon.

Oh I have to pay for tax what is that $2. With Amazon if you're not a Prime member you have to wait a good period of time before you get your item. I like to have my movie waiting for me to pick up on day of release. Also BB has a post-order price match policy whereas Amazon scrapped theirs. On top of that I have the BB Rewards Zone Credit Card where I can get GC's to Best Buy. Besides they banned me from Amazon because they said my account was linked to someone else's that got banned so they had to ban me, and wouldn't give me a solid answer as to why. To hell with Amazon. I get my movies from CH (which are usually much cheaper with their promotions) and BB.

Well under $10. wbshop.com and gohastings.com deals in recent months have made that average happen.

Many BR and movie fans need the movie ASAP. I am willing to wait 2-3 months to get a deal on movie I want.

$10 off Up and Monsters, Inc. pre-order at Amazon

if u must have every BD release opening day, then by all means pay full price. i've had many titles on my wishlist for 1+ year looking for $10-13 delivered for single movies and less than $2 per 43min. episode for TV seasons.

i don't care how long it takes, that's my code and i'm sticking to it =P. it's like i'm lacking anything 2watch =P

Yep, I pre-ordered. I am hoping it drops down to $20 at either Walmart.com or Amazon before release day.

Woo hoo!

Thanks to Best Buy's coupon (notified me via e-mail) for 10% off Movies and Music and a $5 Reward Zone cert I was able to score John Adams on Blu-ray for just over $35 plus tax. Not bad at all for that set. I had been holding out on purchasing it until I could get it down in the $30 range and with the coupon and RZ cert that was possible.

At $45 for the set it would still average $15 per disc which isn't bad, but I'd already seen the series and am purchasing the discs so that my kids watch and also to possibly loan it to friends and co-workers. Since it's not so much for me, I didn't want to pay the higher price.

I pre ordered a while back when the thread for it was created. Hopefully it does.

not really, you just had to call in to make it work. but that loop is closed now, so it's in the past.
