The Blu-ray edition will span three discs with disc one including the theatrical cut and disc two housing the new director's cut that will run 135 minutes (versus 115 minutes for the theatrical cut). Both versions will be offered in 1080p video and 5.1 Dolby TrueHD audio.

FYI -- the back cover of this disc shows 117 for the DC, and 114 for the theatrical version. The DC is simply the R-rated version with a little more violence and some topless nudity... no significant story additions. Good, but not any promised 20-30+ minutes of extra scenes that McG mentioned previously. I suspect a second 'Ultimate' edition will follow this one with those extra minutes in.

If all the second disc is a rated R version why the second disc? Branching should have been good enough.

Now lowered to $16.99 @ Amazon, which is competitive but not an exact match to WM's price. OK if you are willing to wait for the delivery and not taxed (not in my case, unfortunately ). Right now my money is on Wally, esp. since I have a GC to use.

The theatrical version has the Maximum Movie Mode feature. Maybe they couldn't do that and seamless branching. Disc 2 is the director's cut.

This movie was such a dissapointment. Christian Bale as john connor and all you could do was this overblown blockbuster with a mediocre plot, acting, and dialogue? uggg.... gonna pass for sure
