Yeah, that seems rather obvious.

Hmmm, if they have it at a reasonble price. I might, finally, replace my HD DVD for this.

Went ahead and bought it even though I've never seen it. Yeah, you heard that right--so sue me! Kind of scared because THE MALTESE FALCON did nothing for me, with Bogart's machine gun-style, "what the hell did he just say?" line delivery, but everyone insists CASABLANCA is ONE OF THE GREATS, so I'll put my faith and money in the hands of the public. A limited edition for $28.99, even in a month stuffed with pending purchases for me, was an offer I just couldn't allow to pass on by...

Thanks to the OP for the notice... Just bought it. Now if they only GoldBox deal the "Woodstock 40th" again...

Casablanca is one of the finest HD titles I own! I've got the HD DVD release but I'm certain the Blu looks just as wonderful!

I'm tempted, but I'm going to be strong and wait for the single-disc release (considerably cheaper even than Amazon's supersale price for the deluxe edition).

You didn't replace when the Warner Red2Blu offer was available? I did and now have the HD DVD and the Blu versions. Literally got the blu for $4.95. They both look great.

Lightening deals are only available for a few hours; today, it is the SD-DVD of CASABLANCA. Yesterday, it was the Blu-ray.
