so my launch PS3 60 GB is worth more than the models without backward compatibility? That's cool. I didn't figure the launch models were worth all that much any more. Still, I'm not trading it in just to get a PS3 that bitstreams. sending the signal out via PCM to my pre amp is just fine. It would probably sound identical if it were bitstreaming IMO.
