I actually had a legtimate return issue some time ago with a sale like this from bestbuy, and although both iems show the dsicount separately, when you do a return the bbuy computer references your invoice and is coded to recognize the break in the offer.

Not saying it won't work, but I wouldn't count on it given prior experience.

My prior experience is that BB will consider this sale as joint at the hip. So, returning one item invalidates the sale. While they will return the first item at its discounted price, they will charge you the full price on the other one. Worse, they may consider this a complete return of both, and ask you to buy the other one at full price.

I'd say you got lucky. Here in Silicon Valley, the tools are a bit sharper, and they actually check with their supervisors before issuing the refund . . .

Just bought these two with $30 of RZ cash. I'll probably get killed for this, but I have never seen "Braveheart" ... the upside is, my first viewing of it will be an incredible A/V experience

I just sold Braveheart DVD for $4 and the Extended Gladiator DVD for $8 at my garage sale. I picked 'em on and after I get the $20 rebates, it comes to about $3 per title! I love it!

Way to form your own opinion. The disk isn't anywhere near as bad as some people are making it out to be. It could be better, but its no where near the worst transfer on blu.

I'm watching the Theatrical version right now in 1080i on a 61" rear screen projection TV with Component cables.
I think it looks amazing.
Perhaps only the HDMI people are the ones with the "plastic looking face textures" issue.
For me, it's never looked better.
The snow at the beginning after the battle in Germania literally jumps off the screen.

I watched the Extended Edition on my 62" DLP and I might have missed all the defects that were reported.
The movie looked good to me and I do not think that I will need to buy the reissue if it ever comes out.
