heyboova, See the coupon link in the first message. Look under the part where the coupon shows the 50% in be text. You'll see the words "off list". My apologies for referencing "MSRP" in my previous message but list price is the exact same thing!

My point, of course, is that it was clear on the coupon that the discount is not taken from a sale price. So, the confusion was yours, not Borders. You went into Borders with an incorrect assumption. Yet, Borders is the one that you describe as a so called "joke"?! That's rude!

the point I was trying to make is that if you took a coupon into best buy or pretty much any other store you would still get the advertised price. It is completely misleading to have a Price sticker covering the "list" price, which you can not see until they take the protective case off at the counter. I stand by my statement that borders is a joke.

I picked up LA Confidential blu ray: $28.99 - 50% = $14.50

and Fargo blu ray: $28.99 - 50% = $14.50

I ended up getting Batman Digibook for $17.49 and Major League for $14.49.

I picked up Firefly the complete series for $45 (BB regular price - $70) and Licence to Kill for $17.50.

You had to keep an eye out for the deals just cause their list price is so high. I picked up Akira for $25 and Speed Racer for 18. I can't find either one for cheaper then 32.99/29 respectively. Not much of a discount on Akira but I can't find that movie on sale anywhere.
