It was actually pretty good, provided you're going to see giant robots throw down on each other and not expecting Oscar potential acting.

It's up to $7.50. But a regular showing at my local theatre is $9. Got a AMC gift card for my birthday so I saw this for free today anyway. (wow, that was almost a poem)

Great film if you go in for mindless action and not expecting 2001: A Space Odyssey.

I've been meaning to pick up shooter. For $14.99 with the $7.50 movie cash, it may be just enough to rope me in.

How can you tell if the Robots are acting or not?

I have to disagree. The movie was 30 minutes too long, the story was all over the place, it had none of the charm the first one did. People complained about the first movie focusing on the people more than the robots, fighting and action. Well to all of you, you got the action and fighting, which made for a crap movie. I liked the first one a lot, this one was very boring and pointless.

Was the extra 30 minutes used for pointless destruction, mind-blowing explosions and endless bullets zinging all over the surround speakers?

I can't wait for this movie to crap all over my home theater.

I can't believe how many people like the first one either. I couldn't get through it. This one must be beyond awful.

Trust me, it is. It would entertain a child, or an adult with a low IQ.

Yes, pointless destruction, much like the effect the plot, editing and acting had on the movie. I guess big explosions make up for all of that...right?
