for the record, just got my copy here in the bay area. shipped out 7/23 and received 7/28.. ironically, usps did a lot better job in not smashing up the slipcover than UPS did with my copy of gran torino from wb shop. alas, the long saga has ended for me.. good luck to everyone still waiting.

Funny story. I received my Watchmen: DC and Watchmen: TOTBF today, but, guess what, they sent me the DVD version of TOTBF. I called and told the CSR what had happened. She was very nice and said that they would send out a replacement and that I could keep my dvd since it was their mistake. So, the funny part, right as we were finishing up the conversation and the replacement order was in the system, she goes, "Oh, by the way, everything was OK with ,um, Watchmen: The Tales of the Black Freighter, though right?" I just sorta paused, confused, and said, "uh, yes." So, I may be getting another Watchmen: DC or a replacement TOTBF, I don't know. Good Ole' WB, polite service, but not all together there.

Even funnier, while on the phone and she did her thing, she asked for information about Blu-ray, from me. Such as, can a blu-ray player play Blu's? Yes. I told her I play them on my PS3, and I could hear her stammer a bit, then she asks, "I can play blu-rays on my PS3?" yes, says I. She told me that she had one for a while and didn't even know it would play blu's.

I sent them 4 emails and never got a response. It says "SHIPMENT #1 – IN PROCESS"

Horrible service the WBShop has. I am never going to order anything from that place again.

Yes, I'll be taking my business somewhere else that's more reliable and timely.

I finally received mine in the mail via USPS yesterday. Unlike my TOTBF order, this one arrived unannounced with nary an email or website update. An unpleasant customer experience alright, especially for a purchase made directly from the studio. If it weren't for the bundle deal, I would be giving WB an earful; however, it'll take something incredible to order from WBShop again.

my copy was split off with the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake, which isn't coming out until late Sept., so I've contented myself to wait till then... good thing I have a long list of others watch.

Well I got an apology email from WB regarding the "inconvenience" for their late shipment. Got a $5 off coupon on any order over $25.

i got that email as well, though it never said late shipment. i still don't know if it will arrive, or my free title either.

I got the email too. I thought it was because I had trouble entering the code for Watchmen into the site for their reward program thing.
