They shipped me Speed Racer and the Fountain in error. I'm keeping them free of charge, so I'll wait a few days for Watchmen.

I was hoping they'd ship out by today so I could watch it over the weekend, but I haven't gotten a shipping notice yet, either. Some devious part of me wonders if it's possible to cancel the watchmen part of my order and keep the other discs I got virtually for free.

Most of the time I get the shipping notice after I actually receive the shipment. YMMV.

so i'm impatient, went and bought it at walmart today as a placeholder until my wb order comes, will return it to walmart so i can get the full amount back, but i have to watch it tonight

I knew when I ordered mine, that since it was an online transaction, most likely I wouldn't have it by release date. People shouldn't have bought it online, if they wanted it on release date.

What I'm worried about is not having it before Saturday when snyder does his comic con commentary. Does anyone have any experience with preorders and generally how long it takes to come after the street date?

I've gotten a few items way before release date from them. Normally they show up for me on release day or a day after.

I usually receive my preorders from WB a few days before release so kinda disappointing.

Your best bet is to go buy it in a B&M store and then return the copy that WBShop eventually sends you.
