I hit them Sunday pm and no luck on the sale. I was surprised that they DID have used BD's, and some were in Blu cases. Sadly, most were not. They did have Forgetting Sarah Marshall for $16.99 and they did have the R version of Pirates as well.

I can confirm this 2-for-$25 sale at my DFW area Blockbuster. Discs were in Blockbuster cases, not blu cases.

I picked up Hellboy 2 and Lakeview Terrace. I know HB is 2-disc retail I think, but I doubt I'll ever watch it. Tried both out when I got home and they work great.

I'd say 95% of the previously viewed blus were in blockbuster cases as well. My tip is to go to a Blockbuster that does a lot of blu ray business. I live in a rural area and the closest urban area isn't the wealthiest socioeconomic area. I called the store by my in-laws and they had A LOT more. It was an extra half hour away from where I was running my errands at, though, so I will check it out this weekend.

Quick question. The used copies for sale in the rental cases, these do still have the original art right ? Just an additional solid bluue piece of paper behind it. I know that actual rental come that way cause I just dismantled one to see I was just curious about the ones in the sale.

Quantum,

Yes, the ones in rental cases have the original art (with extra blue paper behind it). I first thought it was a special cover art made for Blockbuster until I saw it was just an additional sheet behind it.)

Nice. I actually just ran out and picked up two movies since I had some extra cases laying around. Thing I love about Blu-rays is that with the coating on the disc, they look brand new even though they are used.

The sale started today in my area, picked up Ironman and Before the Devil Knows Your Dead, best I could find for my tastes, gonna try a few different stores the next few days. They came in the rental boxes with the artwork, gotta get some cases.

Yeah most dont. Originally BB was swapping the cases out themselves and throwing the original away. But once bluray started doing better at BB they started having corporate switch them out. So they arrive at the BB store that way.

Best you might be able to do is ask if they have any free PS3 cases (which are the same height as BD cases but a bit wider (like the Euro cases).

I have extras of single and double cases that Ive bought so buying those at BB doesnt bother me.

Where do you guys get your extra cases from? I think that's relevant to this thread since a lot of people who take advantage of this deal will probably want to put their movies in better cases.

I like to store my collection alphabetically...it's a lot easier to move a case down the wall then it is to re-organize wallets upon wallets.

Default Got some!

Cool, was disappointed that they didn't have Wall-E, but got the following:

Forgetting Sarah MArshall
Pineapple Express
Stepbrothers 2 disc
Incredible Hulk

... was going to get Zack and Miri instead of Hulk, BUT noticed that it's a "Blockbuster exclusive" version... which is R-rated as opposed to the normal unrated version. Lame. All the other comedies listed above are unrated, however
