This is not an HD DVD thread. This is a BluRay thread. You get a great deal on Blus. Just because it pertains to people that own the movie on HD does not make it an HD thread.

Will this apply to Foreign title disc? I own UK's Last Samurai & Batman Begins.
I think I'm pushing it if I try to send it right?

I called asking about this as well and the girl told me to hold on to my order and give them a couple of days until they could verify on this.

I mean who saves a piece of paper badly glued to the back of nice boxset with a tendency of getting off every time you try to remove the box from the shelve.

I was ready to jump on this and then I started looking at the list of the 80 HD DVD's that I have left. Oddly enough, I had already upgraded or sold every single Warner title that I had owned. I just have Universal, Paramount, and import titles left for the most part.

I "upgraded" by selling my HD DVD copy and buying used Blu copies. I never had more than $5-$10 extra in each "upgrade" (and $10 more was usually box sets), so I guess I did the Red2Blu program the hard wat.

Man, I keep seeing these types of responses all over the forum.. So what guys...

You all have to start thinking outside the box. This is a no-brainer for either HD DVD OR BLURAY fans. (( See my post in the HD Bargains re: Ultimate Matrix. What does this cost NEW on BLURAY Right now.... $ 99 ???? Do you think paying say $ 55 in total and ending up with BOTH versions would be a deal?? Hell...then you can resell the HD version here or on Ebay if you want... Or dump it in a landfill...NO WAIT!! Dont do that .. Its Earth Day!

Even if you got rid of all your HD DVD's or you are BLU only and never had any..... So what!!

DO THE MATH.. What do even the LESSER quality titles in the list cost NEW ON BLURAY??? are they less than $ 8 ???...

Pick out some Warner titles you REALLY, REALLY, WANT, and then go apeshit at iNetVideo or wherever you choose. Buy them USED on Ebay if you want.

Geez... Many of those discs have recently been sold for as little as 3 bucks each recently... Thinking iNet...Traderbora, etc.

Is the lightbulb going off yet?? Even if you dont have an HD player.. buy the HD titles for peanuts, then pay Warner the 4.95 to 14.95 upgrade fee and mail in the sleeve, and end up with the BRAND NEW BLU for less than half (OR MORE) of what if would cost you new.

Lightbulb, still not going off yet??? OK, how about this... You are doing your part to HELP THE ECONOMY!!

Think of the circle of commerce that will be created... People buying thousands of HD DVD's on Ebay, Inet, Amazon, wherever, just so that they will have the product for "trading in". Then sending money to Warner who in turn will be selling their products, generating a new customer base, along with providing funds to the Postal Service, Credit Merchant Services, Paypal, with everyone keeping their people employed, and then that HD DVD you purchased with then in turn be re-sold or traded here at HDD......blah, blah, blah.

Still not getting it???

The youth of today... Class dismissed.

I was lucky with my Ultimate Matrix sheet. I thought I had thrown it away. I found it in a box of odd stuff I was trying to clear out, I then put it back with the set. Now I get to send it in for a Blu version of the set.

I wish Universal would do this. I only have one WB HD DVD left that I didn't already sell. But I have plenty of universals. Including all 3 bourne films...

I would really like to find out about the matrix set, i didnt keep the outer box for some reason, and just have the individual cases with the sleeves. Hopefully they will allow us to just send in the sleeves to it. I know a ton of people who dont keep the box ( i usually do but i dont know why i didnt this time )

I have set up a thread for exchanging cover art for HD DVDs for those of us who are sending our original covers to WB.

You just proved with your last post that you're the one best atwasting people's time with worthless posts.

This deal is great! I have a bunch of HD DVD's I'd love to swap out for cheap. Best part is I still get to keep my discs, so I can still use them.

Way to go Warner Bros.

Only thing, why isn't T3 listed on there? That's one that would help me out.
