Great price for Bourne, Amazon will most likely match it

When does Amazon usually change the price to match a competitor's?

In that case, I'll keep my pre-order until Sunday. If they don't change the price by then, I'll cancel and re-order later in the week. I'd still be able to save on tax through Amazon.

Thanks, jwbbud!

That is 12 bucks cheaper than Amazon... The thing is that Amazon is going to shipping soon more and more early so that you cant cancel. I dont know whether to cancel it now or wait.

They want to compete with the retail stores so you will shop with them instead. Also, I do not see why everyone is so excited about an $65 price tag for all three Bourne movies. These movies are catalog titles and should not be over $20 a piece. Look at King Kong coming out on Tuesday for $20, that is the way it should be. If you want all these DVD owners to switch over to Blu-ray the prices need to come down. The slower the prices come down the longer it will take for the consumer to make the switch.

$64 for the Bourne's is a rip off. $22 a piece for catalog titles is not a good deal. And also is it me or does anybody get the feeling that some time in the not so distint future it will go for about $43 on amazon.

Yes. Amazon may ship as early as today, possibly Saturday or Sunday (I've gotten Sunday shipping notices before). Anyone wanting to cancel a preorder should do it very soon.

It used to be better when they had their price match guarantee. Although they do still have Pre-order price guarantee (right?)

I'll be laughing in a month or two when the Bourne movies are $15 or less each (in other words: $45 or less for the trilogy). I can GUARANTEE this. And if we've waited this long for them to come out on Blu-ray, why not wait a bit longer and get a "real" bagain?

I agree...the max they should be selling this for is $59.99 (which is just about$19.99 per movie). Even then I might wait to get a better deal.

It's $64.99 PLUS tax if bought at B&M so it's really about $6 difference. I'd say it's worth it to pay over $20/movie for this trilogy but I still want the best deal RIGHT NOW. The Pre-order price guarantee states "If your order enters the shipping process before the release date and the price is lowered before the end of the day of the release date, we will automatically refund your credit card for the difference between the price you were charged and the release-date price." I might just stick it out.

I don't see other blu-ray box sets coming down in price a few months after they are released, at least not a big drop. I'm still waiting for the Matrix box set to come down as I am not willing to pay ~$75 right now. I've been waiting for the Bourne Trilogy and I've waited long enough. Some people are willing to wait longer, some don't. I guess that's the price I have to pay, pun intended.
