Contrary to what some posters claim...many of us were made aware of the B2G1 sale ~ 1 week before the start, were invited to participate and we were provided a list of available titles accompanied by the prices. The start date and list of titles never changed, but the prices sure increased (sometimes considerably) at the second the sale became effective...so thats not to complain about?
I totally agree! Recent posts have focused on 2 separate issues:

1) Amazon's B2G1 sale is better than many retailers.
2) Amazon's price changes at the last minute is ethically questionable especially since they previously posted lower prices tied in with the sale.

These are two separate issues, yet many are trying to confuse these two points.

Not necessarily, it's not a horrible deal. We've seen better, but it looks like this is the best we're gonna get for a while.

Bitching about this latest and reoccurring amazon nonsense is about as futile as complaining about the cessation of the 30 day post purchase price guarantee and the addition of the 'amazon tax' for us New Yorkers.

Amazon prices on Blu-ray discs go up and down all of the time. I have several in my cart and see the notices. You might notice them when Amazon has a sale like this, but that sure doesn't mean prices on the same discs weren't bouncing up and down for weeks. I think unless the price is higher than it has ever been on a given title included in the sale, any claims Amazon is ethically questionable are just unfounded. In any even, Amazon runs a business and charges prices hoping to make a profit and apparently does a pretty good job, Amazon has managed to show some small profits and not that many competitors have recently.
