I can't really find anything I like that I don't have. So far I only want the Mist, but do not see any other movies worth getting.

I decided to go with Young Frankenstein, Death Proof and Planet Terror. Came out to $49.90, saved $10 I guess.

The reason that many of us are upset with Amazon is that they teased us with prices and an advanced announcement that this B2G1 sale is coming up and then changed the prices at the last minute.
Remember Lucy moving the football when Charlie Brown tried to kick it? ("Peanuts"). -

The main point is that it's not a true B2G1 free deal. Sure you will save money but depending on what titles you get it may be Buy 2 get the 3rd for 75% to 50% off...and sometimes you may only be getting around 30% off the everyday price. I believe that is the main dissapointment with the B2G1 deal Amazon offers. If there are three movies you really want then by all means get them becuase you are saving some money just realize you are still paying partial for the third movie.

Amen.
I don't like price hikes but if you match the right movies together, you are still saving money had you bought the same three movies a week ago. Meanwhile, Amazon still has the cheapest everyday prices compared to other stores. Have you seen Best Buy prices and "sales"? They are laughable.
Those that complain about the tease, all I have to say is that the only reason we saw the list of movies before hand is someone on this site had the link to the sale page before it was published. Nowhere on the Amazon site itself did I see the link for that sale prior to it being launched.
Take it or leave it? I bought because the three movies I bought were still the lowest price per disc that I've seen ANYWHERE. Will they go cheaper per disc later? Probably. Prices do fall the longer movies are out, but who knows when that will be...Panasonic 50" 1080p plasma TH-50PZ700U

Correct. Technically, you aren't getting a movie for free based on Amazon's pre-BTGO prices.
But try this, go to Barnesandnoble.com and see if you can get the same movies for the same price or cheaper on their BTGO sale (they have one going on right now too). Heck, go to BestBuy.com and add three movies to your cart, zero the cheapest one out and see if it's cheaper than Amazon's sale.
Yes, the BTGO tag is misleading based on Amazon's pre-sale prices but if you compare the same titles to other retail sites, you are getting one title for free probably.Panasonic 50" 1080p plasma TH-50PZ700U

Seriously how is it any different then Best Buy going from their sale price of 24.95 one week to raising the price the next week to 29.95 and pairing it with another one and then save x amount of $$$.
Every retailer in the world does this.
Amazon simply has a sale price which is a higher % off when they don't have a B2G1 sale... Choose your sale, if you only want 1 or 2 titles you are better off buying during the regular sale, then a B2G1. -

let's see (19.95*2)/3=13.3
i bought patriot games, clear present danger and red october for 13.30 delivered each title. i don't see those titles going for that low for at least a few more months when more used quantities are on sale. it's still a steal. -

I appreciate your opinions on the matter, but you don't seem to appreciate ours. What you don't understand is we're not mad about them changing prices, we're mad about them advertising a sale with a list of prices AND THEN changing the prices at the last minute, nay!, the last second.

I don't know why people constantly use this as a way for me to buy on Amazon. Granted I DO buy from Amazon a lot (not just Blus) but it typically is because of Price and not this "gas and time in line" fee people make up.
I know this varies for most people but within 1 mile and 2 minutes from my dwelling I have Best Buy, Fry's & Circuit City. Gas being $1.43/ gallon where I live means that I am paying a whopping: $.12 roundtrip (Based on Avg. Fill-up of $15 with Avg. Miles per tank @ 250) to get to these stores. Time in line? Negligible and typically (if I don't go on a weekend) there is no line. I simply walk up and pay. Tax? Some people still pay tax on Amazon so that's a mute point too.
Best Buy also offers Reward Zone for every dollar spent, so in addition to getting a sale price on a movie (i.e. - I got Indiana Jones (Blu) for $14.99 + Tax PRIOR to any RZ Certificates about 1 month ago) I can further save for the money I've already spent there.
Do I prefer B&M Stores to online: No. Do I look for the best deal regardless of where they are at? Yes. Do I have a right to be upset with a price-hike after drastic price cuts on the same titles 6 hours prior to the sale going live? You bet I do.
We all have the ability to choose where we spend our money every day, and we also have the ability to choose where NOT to spend our money based on businesses practices. The fact that Amazon raised the prices on these titles and then gave those that inquired about it obvious bogus answers is a PR nightmare waiting to happen if it hasn't already.
So enjoy the sale, I have bought a few titles myself. But I have also reserved my right to buy less because of an unneeded price hike on the part of Amazon. None of these movies I needed, but there were some I have wanted for a particular price. Once that price/savings disappeared more due to the price hike, I told Amazon to take a Hike... by not spending my money there. Thanks all who read this long post.

Anyone that got the bogus reply from AMZ needs to click on the NO button when it asks if your question was resolved, then add additional input that it's a damned funny coincidence that only the movies listed in the sale went up in price immediately once the sale took affect.
Question??? Since we knew when the sale went live, could one not have simply gone online, ordered their titles say 2 hours before the sale goes live then once the order shipped, call them and say HEY, there's a B2G1 sale on the very same titles I ordered, your policy regarding pricing says it's in regards to when the order shipped. They can't very well ship an order placed at 10pm before the "sale" takes effect. I say take a chance because they may simply credit you as a B2G1 and not look at total cost.
Just some thoughts. -

I think many of those prices, the $10.50, $13, $15 prices were sale prices before the B2G1 started and were naturally raised back to normal pricing. I had hoped the prices would stay the same as I stated when we started this thread. The prices are not attractive to me now.
