Default Hancock and PS3 remote for 29.99 !

Hancock and PS3 remote for 29.99 at Wally World. Not a shabby deal if you need the remote or have someone to give it to as a gift. I got one because I need help. Add this remote to the one from Amazon deal and I have 1 in use and 2 of them sealed ! LOL

i still like using my ps3 controller for my remote. i suppose i'm in the minority, but it works perfect for me.

i hate using the PS3 controller as the remote as it causes me to have to charge the controller much more frequently. with the remote, the batteries would last for years without having to bother with it.

i don't have a remote yet because i never could justify spending $25 on it when the controller works pretty well. i keep telling myself that i won't spend more than $15 for the remote. taking that into account, this deal would make it $15 for the remote and $15 for Hancock (a movie i fully intended to buy anyway, once i found a good deal). seems like this is the perfect excuse to bite (as long as it is the official sony one and not some knockoff, that is). thanks OP!

Don't sweat it man. I'm sure the guy working at wally world was the idiot and not you. Most of the people who work there are.lol
That is a good deal though. I believe the remote retail's for $24.99. It is a nice remote by the way. So your basically getting Hancock for five buck's. Not bad although I would have liked a different movie.

This is definitely a good deal. When I bought my 2nd PS3 in May, I bought a new HDTV for the bedroom and 40 GB PS3 (upgraded to 320GB) from Best Buy. At the time you got $300 off the PS3 and a 3 pack of Blus (Night At The Museum, Invincible and 50 First Dates) for buying an HDTV combo... since they price matched the HDTV from Fry's I saved an additional $700 and they threw in the PS3 remote for $0.01.

That was a long story about nothing but the reason I said it is because the movie and PS3 remote is a GREAT deal at that price. I can't see using the PS3 controller rather than my PS3 remote, just my personal preference. I only wish they had a IR/Bluetooth Hybrid remote so I wouldn't have to use my Harmony for my TV and other components AND the PS3 remote for my Blus...

I'm pretty sure this is a regional thing, so it's very YMMV

^ I saw some in Florida (the opposite corner of the country from WA, I believe). If I didn't have the remote already, a no-brainer for me. Or if I'd known my brother-in-law was just about to acquire a PS3 without remote days after I saw this.

P.S. They were actually packaged together. It wasn't a deal that the salespeople would combine individual items.

I went into Wal Mart in Las Vegas. They had a bunch by the movie displays. They are packaged together as a set for $30 so don't ask for the deal for picking them up individually.

I got one though.

HAHA. I was with a friend and I said "Hmm, I just might keep this even though I already have one." and she said "You need help."

Saw about 4 of these at my local Wally World as well.
