Question for those still receiving 5% off Blu from Amazon
Does your discount give you 5% off all Blu-Rays? or are there some you don't receive a discount on? lately I haven't been receiving discounts on many new releases- I was under the impression that this was supposed to work on all Blu-Rays. What do you do when you don't receive the discount on an order?
And do any of you still receive 10% on all Blu-Rays? -

my discount was decreased from 10% to 5% a while back......and as you indicate I've noticed that for some time the 5% discount is no longer being applied to new releases......older titles are still discounted though

I still get the 5% discount on some Blu-ray titles. Usually older catalog titles. If I do not see it when I purchase the newer ones I send them an email and the discount is applied within 24 hours.

I agree, it doesn't always work anymore. Hardly ever if it's also Gold Box. I remember the golden days of piling a 10% discount on a Gold Box deal of the day... ah, memories...

The same goes for me--only older titles are discounted. My guess is that the newer titles are not flagged for the discount while the older ones are.
I've called Customer Service for the 5% discount and some gave it to me, some said the offer is no longer active, some said I don't know why you got the discount in the first place. It all comes down to the agent you talk to! -

I still get it, but on newer titles, it seems you have to wait a little while for it to kick in. I was going to order the Wall-E when it first came out and wasnt getting the 5% off. If i put it in my cart now, i do get it at 5% off. My order on Black Friday though, with the 6 bond titles and 4 others did get the 5% off as well, which was great because it was 5% off the total BEFORE all the discounts.

I did the Bond deal too ... got a full set of the 6 for myself and 4 for a Christmas gift. They took the 5% off prior to the $100 discount and I think it came out to $63 and change. Not bad for 10 blu-rays .... definitely the best deal I've gotten in a while from amazon.
