That's good to know. Still, I do know some people who also had it and then it was completely discontinued.

I would imagine with Amazon already dropping there price protection policy, this discount won't last forever.

That's okay though, Just give me one more Holiday season with it.

This sale isn't bad for non-US members as a lot of online stores won't sell outside the USA. I managed to pickup 9 titles which I wasn't going to buy at $28 each. Shame about the US currency tho.. it's starting to get too strong again.

I had wondered why Master & Commander had increased $4 in my shopping cart. I should've realized that Amazon was having another one of their "sales".

At this point, I'm just waiting until the holidays. There are very few must-own movies for that justify release day pricing. Good prices come to those who wait.

Couldn't find even one title worth buying for even $15.00. If amazon doesn't have a GOOD deal this holiday season, they never will. Bluray better get its act together before the end of the year, otherwise they're gonna be in deep sh**.

I got an e-mail that says

Quote:
Buy now and save big during the Blu-ray 3 for 2 Sale. For a limited time buy three Blu-ray titles and get one free when you add all to your Shopping Cart. Choose from a wide variety of genres, including action, drama, kids & family and much more. Sale ends October 1, 2008

See all titles
When you click the links it no longer takes you to a list of eligible titles. Does that mean that any blu-rays are eligible? I tried some in my cart but it didn't appear to work.

he looked it up, and said they didnt have any info on it, but that as a one time exception, he will credit me for the lowest priced item, but i had another order ready, which was for boxsets, but he said i would have to wait for the items to ship, then he would refund me the item, but i figured, i didnt want to wait for the preorder boxsets to ship, so i just did that one order without preorders

I received an e-mail yesterday that said:

"Buy now and save big during the Blu-ray 3 for 2 Sale. For a limited time buy three Blu-ray titles and get one free when you add all to your Shopping Cart. Choose from a wide variety of genres, including action, drama, kids & family, and much more. Sale ends October 1, 2008"

Here’s the link:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.htm...blurayforum-20

It says:

Blu-ray 3 for 2 Sale

For every two Blu-ray titles purchased, get a third one free when you add them all to your Shopping Cart. Go to the Blu-ray store

Then it gives you this link:

http://www.amazon.com/b/ref=amb_link...blurayforum-20

I selected my three movies, Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds: Live at Radio City Music Hall [Blu-ray], Men in Black [Blu-ray], and David Gilmour: Remember That Night - Live At The Royal Albert Hall [Blu-ray], but I did not receive the third movie free. I am requesting a refund of the third movie because that’s what the deal stated.

"For a limited time buy three Blu-ray titles and get one free when you add all to your Shopping Cart."

Please get back to me as soon as possible. This would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Nathan
I'll keep you guys updated.

Thank you for writing to Amazon.com to bring this to our attention.

I'm sorry your order total was calculated incorrectly.

I researched your order confirmed that it qualifies for the promotional discount you mentioned.

We'll be glad to issue a refund of these additional charges.

However, because you are not charged until your items ships, we can't issue a refund until the entire order has been shipped.

I apologize for this inconvenience.

Once your entire order has been shipped, please use the link below to request a refund.

Please visit the following link to provide the information we

You will be directed to a web page where you can paste a copy of the cost summary from your original order confirmation e-mail.

We will request the appropriate refund to your credit card for the amount you were erroneously charged.

I hope this solution is satisfactory.

Thank you for shopping at Amazon.com.

Worked for me. Bought Ratataouille $20.95, Cars $20.95, and Starship Troopers $19.95 and they refunded me $20.95, which comes to around $13.63 each. I have always wanted these movies but didn't want to spend over $20+ on them. Was going also going to get The Fall $26.95, Beowulf $24.95, and Iron Man $27.95 but it was going to cost around $18+ after third one off some it wasn't such a great deal for me. Yeah....I'm that cheap!
