Default Blockbuster $10 off;Disney/Paramount $10 rebate

Blockbuster.com has $10 off a $10 purchase via coupon code augappreciation.
Free shipping for previously-viewed movies (add about $3 for new titles).
Coupon expires soon (probably no later than the end of August, which is this Sunday, August 31st -- the day before Labor Day).

Many DVD's are available for around $10, yielding a net price of about $2 per movie.

Before coupon prices (all previously viewed, unless noted):
Crimson Tide - $11.99
The Rock - $9.99
National Treasure - $9.99
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street - $9.99
Stardust - $7.99
Old School (new) - $10.99
Transformers - $9.99
Zodiac (new) - $14.99

All of the above can be used for $10 rebates with new Blu-Rays with store receipt.

You may need to pad your order with a $3.99 title (i.e. Matador).

Devil's Rejects Blu-Ray is available for $17.99 (new?).

Blockbuster Online/Total Access customers take 5% off new prices above and 10% off previously viewed prices above.

of course, zodiac is available for $5.99 previously viewed from netflix with free shipping.

could someone please help me with the available $10 upgrade rebates. i believe they are:

Disney (first form available)
Crimson Tide
The Rock
Con Air
Expires 12/31/08

Disney (2nd form available)
National Treasure (NT1)
The Rookie
Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe

Disney (3rd form available with new National Treasure 2 DVD?)
National Treasure: Book of Secrets (NT2)

Paramount
Transformers
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
Old School
Stardust
Zodiac
Godfather Collection

Disney (expired)
Cars (all forms had to be mailed in by 06/30/08)

I purchased a new, sealed copy of Chronicles of Narnia Blu from an on-line store (etailer -- not an EBay reseller) -- it had no rebate form.

I purchased Chronicles of Narnia Full Screen DVD off of EBay for $3.25 total ($1.00 plus $2.25 shipping).

What about Ratatouille? A previously viewed DVD of Rat is available at Blockbuster for $14.99 (before $10 coupon). I bought a new, sealed copy of Rat Blu-Ray, and it had no form in it for a $10 rebate (but then again neither did the sealed copy of Narnia Blu-Ray that I bought (and I know there is a rebate for Narnia).

And are there any others that I don't know about?

Ratatouille had one, but it ended 6/30/08.
Gangs of New York has one, but I haven't bought it yet so I'm not sure what else is on it.
There also another disney Rebate for Hidalgo, Coyote Ugly, Unbreakable and Shall We Dance still ongoing.

I would love it if Nightmare had one....love that movie.
This is a smart marketing ploy by Disney if you ask me. I would never have upgraded several of these without the rebate.
If anyone knows what the Gangs of New York one is, please post. I've just seen the outside of the wrapper.

One more thing. If you buy a movie that's supposed to have the rebate form, but doesn't, call Disney and request one. I done that without any problems.
Just search the forums for the number.

Blockbuster DVD prices before $10 rebate (Hidalgo and Unbreakable not available):
Gangs of New York $9.99
Coyote Ugly $9.99
Shall We Dance (Richard Gere version) $7.99

I Peerflixed my SWD (RGv) DVD only (I still have the case), so I may get that Blu if I can find a good price.

Shall We Dance (1995 - Japanese) is available for $9.99 for what it's worth.

I understand there is/was an Underdog rebate, also.

Underdog is available for $5.99

Eight Below is available for $7.99. I don't think there's any chance that there's an Eight Below $10 rebate, eh?

I understand there is/was a Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End rebate, also.

PotC:AWE is available for $9.99

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest is available for $11.99. Are/were there any rebates on PotC 1 & 2?

I appreciate any help people can provide filling in the blanks for me.

BTW, I noticed that Dark City Blu-Ray went up from $11 to about $25 at Tower.com. If you were interested in that deal, I hope you got in on it while it was there (it was active for at least 3-4 days, I believe).

couldn't resist posting this:

thunderball $10.99 (NEW)

didn't notice it was new -- it is not free shipping (add $4 for 1st class or $5 for priority to the after-discount price of $0.99).

With a lot of the rebates that all of you are mentioning, the rebates are in the specially marked packages. If the title doesn't have a sticker saying that it has a rebate, then the rebate won't be in the package. You can call Disney though and they will provide one.
