I took advantage of their latest promotion and one of the items that I purchased, lowered in price.
I contacted Amazon and got my money back but the weird part is, I got an e-mail from Bill Me Later stating they (in addition) were giving me money back. I don't know how well known this is, sorry if it's been posted but instead of them sending me a check for little money, I purchased The Proposition using Bill Me Later. I ordered it when it was 13.95. I e-mailed Amazon and got my 3 bucks back when it dropped. Since, I had a $1.00 credit on my Bill Me Later account it means I paid 9.95. Although this wasn't a promotional purchase and I'm not the most familiar with their service, does that mean it will bring it down to 6.95 if they match Amazons deduction? I'm really shocked and surprised but happy. I won't continue to do this for all orders (since my rewards for my card are better in the long run) but I really lucked out, if this is the case. Thank you! |

I'm still waiting on future e-mails to see if I'm correct in my thinking. I'll post again, once I know.

Okay, we can close the thread. It turns out the original $1.00 promotional courtesy was from Bill Me Later but after that, Amazon directly posted refunds on my Bill Me Later account and Bill Me Later didn't match them.
Either way, I got The Proposition for 8.96 (.99 of the deduction came from a different order). |
