Default J&R Sale this weekend

So I just got an email from J&R stating there was a Blu-ray sale this weekend. I checked it out but the prices are horrible.

What happened to this site? They used to have good sales!

I remember I got Close Encounters for $20 from them.

Now that was a sale!

J&R is dead to me now. They've been putting out crappy sales for weeks now.

Sales have been really lame everywhere. But, I'll be back when studios start-up some promos and the marketing dollars begin to flow again. Then the prices will go down.

J&R does have an extra 12% cash back right now through live.com. Not that this makes their pricing any better.

All sales have sucked. The only glimmer of hope is Columbia house with two b1g1 free sales so far this year.

There's no real reason to have crazy sales anymore, but we're getting close to the holiday season and more high profile releases will be coming out (incl. all the big summer movies)
so hopefully we'll see some good deals soon

Man even the crappy B-Movies that have been $8.95 on Amazon are selling for $10.99 on J&R during this "sale"... definite pass for me. I am going to hold off on purchases until the Holiday Deals come around starting Late Oct./Nov.
