Just pre-ordered it, will cancel the Amazon one. Normally, I wouldn't bother with BB anymore since I'd have to drive over there. I've got a gig that's right down the street now, so I can walk over.


That would be fucked if Amazon matched it.

oh sure....I take the time to do a little research into Afro Samurai to see if I might like it....decide it totally sounds worth $13.99 on BD....just to find the deal is dead and it's now $19.99

Then again it would have been a sign of the apocalypse to give Best Buy my business again. Not that they're HORRIBLE...they just have horrible prices and can be a HUGE pain to price match. But I did snag a couple of BD's on the 2 for $30 deal they've had with in store pick up and no issues....oh well. Hopefully it wasn't a price error and everybody gets canceled....

Damnit, I didn't place my order yesterday because I was on a different computer and now the price is normal...

After seeing that DrAndonuts bought Afro Samurai at BB, I decided to go there and see if I could pick up my order early even though I didn't receive the confirmation that they had pulled it. My first attempt didn't work out and the CSR there wouldn't sell it to me. I only had my iPhone to show him my order but he wasn't interested in looking at it. Walked back home to print out the order and went back to find a manager (yes, I had that much excess time on my hands and really wanted the movie tonight). He looked up the order and couldn't find it at first but told me to just go ahead and grab the movie from the shelf. After I got back, he told me that my order was actually canceled and that it could be for many reasons including pricing errors, fraud or just a hold. He flexed his managerial powers and sold it to me anyway at $13.99. So I don't know if the order was really canceled or possibly because the movie isn't officially supposed to be released until 8/26, just a thought to keep in mind and see what happens for folks who placed the order at $13.99 when Tuesday rolls around. Good luck!
