Highly recommended player for those looking to get into blu-ray or those who want to upgrade their player. I paid almost $500 for this player 3 months ago and I am more than satisfied with it ... personally I think it's the best player out there so far and at $340.00 it's at a price well worth paying for this machine. If I had an extra $340.00 I'd buy another one for the bedroom.

There's multiple players now available that are better(Denon model, PS3, BD-50). But if you're looking for a standalone this is definitely a fantastic price on a great player.

This is a great Blu-Ray player. I’ve had mine since the 1st week of January and I love showing it off to my friends who have yet to go Blu. Updating the software is a snap. The load times are quick. I wouldn’t mind owning a 2nd one. I kinda lucked out on mine cause I got it at a BestBuy New Years Sale. Got mine for $420 with 10 free Blu-Ray movies!!! 5 by mail and 5 in store…God I miss the format war!!!
