Default Costco-$10 Off Nat'l Treasure 1/2 and Narnia

Was at my Costco yesterday- they have a sign up by the blu-rays saying $10 off National Treasure "assortment" - the only three films that had the code that was listed on the sign were National Treasure 1 and 2 and Chronicles of Narnia-1 - they list for $26.99- so they're $16.99 after the instant rebate.

I bought all three- and they didn't all ring up as $10 off - but the cashier sent someone back to check the sign then had the manager verify that it was for any blu rays with the code on the sign- so ended up getting each of them for $16.99.

I know it isn't as good as the B1G1 free deals from the past- but thought it was a pretty good deal.

Is this is the same deal they've had for a few months now where they give you $10 off ENTIRE purchase when buying two or more? It seems YMMV depending on how the manager interprets the sale to override and give $10 off each disc.

Great deal on those discs ,wish I had a Costco close by. I haven't seen similar deals at Sam's, the only warehouse club in my area.

no- not the same deal- at least the sign doesn't say you had to buy two like the previous one did- the sign just listed the code that is on the packages of all three of those discs -the price of $26.99 and then said instant manufacturer's rebate ($10.00) and the net cost of $16.99

I'd def. buy Narnia for that price if my Costco had that deal this past weekend! Nice snag indeed . I will certainly be keeping my eyes peeled next time I visit.
