Wake me when it's below $60, since that's the best price right now.

This isn't a bargain.

Not a bad price... still waiting for it to drop to less than $20 per movie.

Technically that's what it is now. Remember it's a 4-disc set. $79.95 divided by 4 is $19.98

+1. The price hasn't adjusted in my pre-order yet, so I sent them an email just to play it safe.

I'll pass for now...i'll wait until it's $20 per movie...you shouldn't have to pay for bonus features...that's why they are called "bonus" or extra features.

Did this drop to $75.95 at some point? Or just $79.95 like the thread title?

So AVP: Requiem which has 2 discs is a good value at $40?

I'm pretty sure the intent was $20 per actual movie.

Curious to see what this looks like. I hope they got it right with the director and Mr. Harris involved. But, I'm not sure I need to own the whole trilogy, and probably don't need it at $25+ a movie. $25 for the first movie is okay. But the second is a stretch and the third has always been merely a good/okay movie.

This is one I can wait on until the price drop (like I did with the DVD). I suspect I'll get this one in 18 months or 2 years for half this price.

considering the extensive work and time they took to restore this, I think this is a fair price.

It takes 24-48 hours for your preorder price to go down... patience.

does anyone know if Goldbox prices override pre-order price gaurantees? I pre-ordered a couple days ago via Goldbox for $82.90... now that the price dropped, I wonder if they'll honor the new (lower) price.

It'd be great if they still gave me a Goldbox discount too haha

When I pre-ordered Mad Men via my Gold Box, and Amazon lowered the price before it came out, they gave me both the lower price and the Gold Box savings, although they may have adjusted the Gold Box savings from the lower price. Can't remember.
